At Walnut Grove we want to share and teach other what the bible says about daily topics. We believe that the bible is the inspired word of God, sent to us to study and live by. We also believe that if we do and live by the things that are written in the bible that God will one day let us enter the home he has prepared for the faithful...HEAVEN!

Our Mission

Walnut Grove's Mission Statment could be sumerized as "we are to seek and save the lost" or "Go unto all the world, teaching the gospel to every creature"

Becoming a Member

We believe that if you follow the steps of salvation that are clearly written in the bible you become a Christian. These steps are:

1. Hear the word / the bible - Romans 10:13-17
John 6:45 - Rev. 1:3

2. Believe what you read/hear about the word.
John 8:24 - Heb. 11:1,6

3. Repent of past sins. Luke 13:3 - Acts 17:30

4. Confess that Jesus Christ is the son of God. Matt. 10:32-33 - Rom. 10:9-10

5. Be Baptised for the forgivness of your past sins. Gal. 3:26-27 - Acts 2:38

Organization News

May 22nd - Walnut Grove and Calvert City Churches of Christ having a Youth Devotional at Mike Miller Park in Draffinville.

Saturday June 11th - Day at the Park (Mike Miller Park) for all ages.

June 26 - Friends and Family Day - Sunday Morning and Sunday night bring a friend or a family member!

July 17-20 - (VBS) Vacation Bible School. Kids of all ages are invited to come to class to learn, do arts & crafts, and eat refreshments following VBS everynight!

July 26th - Walnut Grove will be hosting "The Summer Youth Series." Tim Alsup will be the speaker. This begins at 7:00pm.
